This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Maukafe uses. It is written to meet the information duty in Spain’s Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) when the visitor is in Spain or the European Union, GDPR consent rules for non-essential cookies, and the information duty in Colombia’s Law 1581 of 2012. Non-essential cookies are used only if you accept them.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file the site may store in your browser. We also use localStorage for the box and to remember whether you already answered the notice. That is not advertising.

2. Cookies and storage we use

mauka-cookie-consent: stores your choice (essential or analytics) and the notice version. It is essential so we do not ask again. It lasts until you delete it or we raise the version.
mauka-cart: products and quantities in your box on this browser. It is functional: without it the box does not survive a refresh. It does not identify your name.

Language is chosen from the visitor’s country (Spanish in Spain and Latam; English everywhere else). We do not set a language cookie.

3. Analytics

Only if a meter exists (for example NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_MEASUREMENT_ID) and you chose “Accept all” or turned analytics on in Configure. Then the provider may set its own cookies under its policy. We do not use them for personalised ads. If there is no meter, “Accept all” means “Got it” and analytics stay off.

4. How to manage them

You can open the notice again with “Manage cookies” in the footer. You can also clear cookies and site data in the browser. If you block local storage, the box and the memory of your choice may be lost and the notice will appear again.

5. Changes
